A webhook, also referred to as an HTTP callback, is a way for one app to provide other applications with real-time information via an API. A webhook looks similar to a normal URL, and allows you to send data to other applications as it happens. webhook can be implemented within any application that is supported by an API.
In PushMetrics, after creating and saving the report for the first time a webhook link is generated for the report that you can view the next time you edit the report. When you share the webhook with others, the report is triggered and delivered to all recipients specified in the report. How you choose to share the webhook is up to you. You can even add it to any of your existing applications or ETL processes.
